Maple Systems Road - 222 (single)
The new Maple Systems Road single is 85 BPM but sounds faster at some points, as the track drifts into an Alice In Wonderland type phase then back into downtempo/ambient territory. At 9 mins this is one of the longest MSR tracks but dope to listen to on headphones.
Maple Systems Road - When Everything Changes LP
This album has apparently been some years in the making, but it sounds fresh. As the debut Maple Systems Road full-length, it was decided that mostly new but some older material was thrown together to form the different changes found throughout the album in terms of emotion or tempo. Recording gear includes VHS tape, cassette, reel to reel, tascam portastudio, microkorg, kaoss pad, MPC and Cubase as the sequencer, as well as recorded and found sounds.
